Oh I have a lot of stuff to post but I am not in the mood for a lot of writing right now. Basically, Ed demolished the head of the nail when he said "all the other kids who listen to them will be there." I'm going to be real honest, if there was an exact replica of me, I'd probably hate his guts. That's why, whenever I go to a show, I usually end up cursing all the kids who are there because they're into the same shit I am.

no fluck, you're into Ethiopian jazz funk from going onto turntable lab. i get my music from the same spots as anyone else, if myspace had hot shit, then I'd get it from there. it's all the same. knowing more about music has nothing to do with what you listen to (plus its completely irrelevant to this thread). Actually, knowing more about music has nothing to do with anything cause there's always gonna be someone that knows more than you and there's always gonna be someone that knows less than you. Anyone that you talk to thats been around the block a few times is gonna tell you that a really impressive live show is hard to come by. Plus its hard for me to believe that standing on the Ben Franklin parkway in 2005 for 12 hours. with 1 million people to see Stevie Wonder play music is any more real than putting on Innervisions at home. This thread was supposed to be funny, not a bunch of self righteous posts about who knows more music. A friend of mine once called me an elitist for listening to funk re-issues. Just because it's rare, doesn't mean it's good. I totally agree with him. Plus we're all friends on this board, so who really gives a shit anyway?

Like I said, Halo is better than Live shows. Everyone should come over here for a couple games to vent all the frustration.
Me and TSR will take you all in CTF.

i didn't mean to stir shit up, i just had another opinion. i'm glad we're all on the same page about the whole musical knowledge thing and about this thread being completely about opinions and personal preferences.

I don't know what yall are talking about. Here's what went down at the last live show I was at. The universal energy chi of the live DJ was just flowing through us all.

That's cause LadyBlam has the connections, so she only goes to the hottest invitation-only shows around. You wouldn't understand what we're talking about in this thread.
Is that Tom Cruise in the background making out with your sister?

hahaha oh man, I forgot about that show. those guys kept asking for Jethro Tull, so I played Aqualung and they practically ripped the ceiling down. Yeah thats right, Ed Blammo knows how to get busy.
